THE LAST TIME I POSTED WAS NOVEMBER!!!

Please don't fire us. Our lives have been quite eventful. I'm on spring break right now, so I actually have time to breathe. I still love all of you even if I've neglected the blogs! I can report that I made it through February, which for some reason has always been difficult for me. This year it's been HORRIBLE but now it's March and life is going to be okay! Little flowers are starting to peek up out of my gardens. This is a good sign!

This week is our spring break, and we've been having a fabuous time. The kids and I planned Harry Potter week! We have watched the first 4 movies as a family, and we'll watch the 5th one tonight. We've also made all kinds of fun crafts, including butter beer, chocolate frogs, and broomsticks and wands made of all kinds of edible stuff. The kids also decided to pass off our Harry Potter x-box game this week. Right now they are eating their Bertie Bott's every flavored beans. Morgan just ate a sardine flavored one. In case you've never had them, the flavors listed are: booger, black pepper, blueberry, earthworm, dirt, cherry, cinnamon, ear wax, sausage, grape jelly, grass (this one is weirdly good), tutti-frutti, lemon drop, vomit, soap, sardine, toasted marshmallow, buttered popcorn, pickle, rotten egg, and 2 mystery flavors. Yum.

I'm starting a new walking challenge so I can walk New York when my mom and Jen go to the US open in August. I'd love you all to join me! You can sign up at www.walkny.blogspot.com.

  2. I just reread the entire seven books (because I enjoyed the 7th so much that I wanted an excuse to read it again). Hooray for Harry Potter! What a fun spring break activity. I also really like the grass flavor BTW.

  5. Yea, you're back! Grass is my favorite!!! Oddly enough, I winced at vomit, sardine, and booger, but black pepper made me want to puke for some reason. Do you know the exact dates you'll be here in August?

  6. hey, if you get a chance, I'd love to get some of your Harry Potter ideas. Next month the theme for cub scouts is Abracadabra, and I could totally use any ideas magic-related. That includes Harry Potter. So glad to see you back.
